Gay men should regularly screen, from 3-6 months, even if they are taking the medication that can stop them from becoming HIV positive – PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis). In the last couple of years there has been a reduction in new HIV cases but other STIs are on the rise.

Whoever you are having sex with, your sexual orientation or how often you have sex, remember, the best and only way to help protect yourself from STIs is with a condom.
